What it is

Takes Silent Gear items apart into parts, and parts into materials.

How to use it

  1. Craft it from a piston, four crimson iron ingots, a block of iron and obsidian.
  2. Put in a Silent Gear item to get its parts back, then salvage the parts for their materials.
  3. How much you lose depends on how worn the item is: from nothing up to half in ATM10.

Good to know

  • It also breaks down vanilla tools and armor: a diamond pickaxe gives three diamonds and two sticks. ATM10 adds chainmail, compressed iron armor and Mekanism Tools.
  • Uru parts cannot be salvaged.
