Play as a group of friends

One of you pays €19.99 a month and up to five of you play, on all three worlds. Split five ways that's €4.00 each, which is less than the cheapest server that runs a modpack, and nobody in the group has to run anything.

5€4.00€49.95

A group or a server of your own

QuestionThe group planRenting a server
Per month, for all of you€19.99, for up to fivefrom about €20, more for bigger packs
ModpacksFTB StoneBlock 4, ATM10 To The Sky and ATM10, all includedone per server; a second pack means a second server
Setting it upopen the link, sign in, claim your nameserver files, memory flags, ports and a whitelist
Updates, crashes and backupsours to deal withyours, at whatever hour they happen
When whoever pays stopsthe worlds and your builds staymost hosts delete it, world and all, a few days later

Every pack gives a team a place of its own: land you claim on ATM10, an island on To The Sky and a base on StoneBlock 4. Make one team for the group in game and nobody outside it can build there.

How it works

  1. One of you starts the group

Sign in with Discord, claim your Minecraft name and press Start a group. The card goes in on Stripe's own page, and it's €19.99 a month from then on.

  2. Send the link to the others

Your account page shows an invite link. Put it in your group chat; it works for as many people as there are free seats, and you can swap it for a new one whenever you like.

  3. Each friend opens it

They sign in with Discord, claim their own Minecraft name and press Join. Within a minute they're on the whitelist of every world, with nothing to pay.

The rules

  • Up to five people: the one who pays and four friends. Each seat is one Discord account and one Minecraft account.
  • Everybody keeps their own name, hours, badges and place on the ladders. Nothing is shared but the bill.
  • The one who pays can take a friend out at any time and give the seat to someone else, up to two times a month.
  • Anybody can leave whenever they like. A seat ends when you leave or are taken out, and every build stays where it is. A free week you had when you joined is given back.
  • If the one who pays cancels, everybody plays to the end of the month that was paid, and every build stays where it is.
  • Somebody who already pays for themselves joins when their own month ends, so nobody is charged twice.

Questions

Is it our own private server?

No. You play in the same three worlds as every member, with up to 20 players in each. What the group gets is a team: claimed land, an island or a base that only you can build in. If you want a world nobody else can enter, rent a server.

Who pays, and how do the others pay their share?

One person pays, by card on Stripe's page. How the rest of you settle up with them is between you; the site never asks the friends for anything.

Can we try it before anybody pays?

Yes. Each of you can take the free week of seven days on your own first, with no card. Start the group during the week and the first charge waits until the week ends. Your friends join once that payment has gone through, and their own free weeks carry them until then.

What happens to our builds if we stop?

Nothing. The worlds keep running and your builds stay where they are. Start the group again and the same people are back in.

I already pay for myself. Can I move to a group?

Yes. Cancel in billing; your month runs to its end. Then start the group, or join a friend's, from your account page. Cancelling first is what stops you paying twice.

Is anything in the game different for a group?

No. A seat in a group is the same access as the €9.99 plan: no ranks, no perks, and the same rules.
