How to get the ATM Star in ATM10
In ATM10 the ATM Star is made in the Runic Star Altar, a 15 by 15 multiblock, from nine crafted parts, a Patrick Star, 28 Unobtainium-Allthemodium Alloy Blocks, 15 Nether Star Blocks 3x (98,415 Nether Stars) and two Awakened Alloy Blocks. The recipe
2,048 EU/t for 10 seconds. Each slot above jumps to the section that explains it, and gets a tick once you have everything for it. The nine parts and the Patrick Star are one of each; the blocks of the casing are the slow part.
Start these first
Most of the Star is waiting for farms. Set these going before you craft anything else, and they fill while you do the rest.
Nether Stars
98,415 for the casing alone, plus a handful in five recipes. A Hostile Neural Networks Wither model gives one star per prediction; Mystical Agriculture's Nether Star seeds over a Nether Star Crux add more.
Piglich Hearts
504 for the 28 alloy blocks if you make them in the Enchanting Apparatus, 36 more for the two Unobtainium-Vibranium blocks and nine for the Dragon Soul. A Piglich model gives four per prediction. The dragon forge route skips them for the alloys.
Source
The 28 alloy blocks cost 90,000 source each in the Enchanting Apparatus: 2,520,000 in all. Build the source generation early if you go that way.
Compressed blocks
531,441 netherrack, 59,049 each of obsidian and end stone, 6,561 blocks of diamond and 6,561 of emerald, all for the Dimensional Seed. Generators and auto-crafters, left running.
Mystical Agriculture essence
108 Insanium Essence for the Creative Essence and more for Insanium Coal and the Nether Star Crux. Awakened Supremium for the fuel and the awakened alloy.
Antimatter
Five Antimatter Pellets: two for the Improbable Probability Device and three for the Gravitational Modulating Unit. Each is 1,000 mB through Mekanism's SPS.
The Ender Dragon model
Self Aware is its last tier. Leave it in a Simulation Chamber from the start.

The Runic Star Altar
The Star, the Patrick Star and the Awakened Alloy Block are all made here, so build it before you need it. It is a Modern Industrialization machine built from Forbidden and Arcanus darkstone.
The controller
A Hephaestus Forge ritual at tier five: Polished Darkstone in the middle, then two Z-Logic Controllers, two Enderium Gears, two Mundabitur Dust, a Quantum Injector, and a Block of Unrealium or the Lunar Monstrosity's loot bag. Enhancers: Artisan Relic, Elementarium, Divine Pact and Maledictus Pact. Essences: 5,000 aureal, 5,000 blood, 100 souls and 2,500 experience.
The blocks
Place the controller and right-click it with a Modern Industrialization Wrench: the shape appears in the world as a guide. It is 15 wide, 15 deep and 8 high, and the facing of stairs and pillars does not matter.
The hatches
On the sides, swap some of the Polished Darkstone beside the Arcane Polished Darkstone for an item input hatch, an item output hatch and an energy input hatch. Without an output hatch it refuses to run.
The power
Every recipe here needs 2,048 EU/t of capacity, far more than the bare altar has, and it sits idle until you add upgrades to the controller. A Corrupted Arcane Crystal (the quest calls it a Runic Attuned Crystal, made in the Hephaestus Forge from an Arcane Crystal) adds 512 EU/t, so four cover it. Modern Industrialization's upgrades work too: 2 for Basic, 16 for Advanced, 64 for Turbo and 512 for Highly Advanced.

Miniature Exit Portal
Four Dragon Eggs, three End Crystals, Infused Dragon's Breath and a Soul-Touched Sculkshelf. You need not kill the dragon four times: a Hostile Neural Networks Ender Dragon model gives an egg with every prediction.
Miniature Nether Portal
Four obsidian, two Nether Stars, a Wither Skeleton Skull and Warped Nylium around a Hellshelf of Masterful Sight. That shelf starts as an infused hellshelf from a few shelves on an enchanting table.
Miniature End Portal
Four Endshelves and four Eyes of Ender around a Draconic Endshelf. Endshelves take Infused Dragon's Breath.
End Stone 5x
59,049 End Stone, compressed five times. An end stone generator, or a quarry in the End.
Block of Emerald 4x
6,561 Blocks of Emerald, compressed four times: 59,049 emeralds. Mystical Agriculture emerald seeds or a villager trading hall.
Block of Diamond 4x
6,561 Blocks of Diamond, compressed four times: 59,049 diamonds. Diamond seeds or Occultism's miners.
Start the four compressed blocks on day one. They cost nothing but time, and they are most of the time this part takes.

Dragon Familiar in a Creature Catcher
Occultism's Ihagan's Enthrallment ritual summons a Dragon Familiar (it needs a horse nearby to sacrifice). Throw a Creature Catcher from Just Dire Things at it. A Dragon Familiar spawn egg is accepted too.
Socotra Dragon Sapling
Bred with Productive Trees, where bees cross-pollinate trees. Jungle with Dark Oak gives Teak, Acacia with Teak gives Balsa, Balsa with Dark Oak gives Cocobolo, Cocobolo with Balsa gives Wenge, and Wenge with Cocobolo gives the Socotra Dragon. Our Productive Trees guide explains the breeding.
Ender Dragon Data Model, Self Aware
Right-click the Ender Dragon with a blank Model Framework, then train the model to its last tier, Self Aware, by killing dragons or by running it in a Simulation Chamber. A model below Self Aware does not fit the recipe.
Block of Piglich Hearts
Nine Piglich Hearts. The Piglich lives in the Ancient Pyramid in The Other, Allthemodium's dimension, and drops one heart. A Hostile Neural Networks Piglich model gives four hearts per prediction, and you will want hundreds of them for the alloy blocks below.
Soul Lava Bee Spawn Egg
Pour a bucket of Soul Lava over a Ghostly Bee egg, as the quest shows. Soul Lava is rare underground in The Other and common in Piglich villages.
Abyssal Sacrifice
A shapeless craft from Cataclysm: a Nautilus Shell, a Heart of the Sea, an Athame (Deepling Warlocks and Priests drop it), Crystallized Coral or a Coral Chunk from a Coral Golem or the Coralssus, and a block each of diamond, emerald, iron, gold and amethyst. Deeplings drop the shell and the heart too.
Chain of Souls
Eternal Starlight's grappling chain: two Tenacious Petals, two Tenacious Vines, Soul Dew and a nugget. Beat the Gatekeeper at a portal ruin in the Overworld to get in; the Lunar Monstrosity drops the petals and vines. Our Eternal Starlight guide has the way there.
Train the dragon model early. It levels while you do everything else, and Self Aware is the slowest tier.
Wither's Compass
Everything here comes back to the Wither, so set up one way to kill it over and over before you start.

Withered Comb Block
A Skeletal Bee sometimes moves into an empty hive in the dark. Feed it a Wither Rose and it becomes a Withered Bee, whose combs you craft into the block.
Wither Builder
Industrial Foregoing's Wither Builder: plastic, a Nether Star, two Wither Skeleton Skulls and soul sand on a Supreme Machine Frame. That frame takes Ether Gas, which a laser drill pulls from a living Wither. Our Industrial Foregoing guide walks the Ether Gas setup.
Heart of the Deep
The Warden sometimes drops it when it dies. It also opens the portal in the Ancient City.

Wither Skull scroll, level 10
An Iron's Spells scroll of Wither Skull at level 10, Legendary. Write it at an Inscription Table with a Blood Vial and upgrade it to level 10.

Arrow of Wither, long
Brew a Wither Skeleton Skull into an Awkward Potion for Apothic Attributes' Wither potion, lengthen it with redstone, and tip arrows with the lingering kind.
Wither
Ars Nouveau's Wither glyph: three Wither Skeleton Skulls and an Abjuration Essence at the Scribe's Table. If it will not take, you need more experience levels.
Nether Star Crux
Four Insanium Essence, two Nether Stars, a diamond block and two Withering Souls, which a Wither drops about one time in three. The crux under farmland is what lets Nether Star seeds grow, which is also the cheapest source of stars for the casing.
Make the Nether Star Crux first: it starts a Nether Star farm, and the casing alone wants 98,415 stars.

Rainbow Coal
Blow up a Rainbow Furnace and it leaves Rainbow Coal. You need two more furnaces for the Improbable Probability Device, so make three.
Insanite Block
Extreme Reactors: eight Insanite Ingots around a block of Inanite. Insanite is Benitoite (mined in the Nether) reprocessed with Rossinite; Inanite is Ridiculite reprocessed the same way, and its block takes a Netherite block.
Blaze Burner or Uranium Quad Fuel Rod
Either one. The Blaze Burner is far easier: four iron plates and a netherrack make an empty burner, and you right-click a Blaze with it.
Insanium Coal Block
Nine Insanium Coal, which Mystical Agradditions crafts from Insanium Essence and coal.
Smelter Prism

Explosive Mycelial Generator
Industrial Foregoing's Explosive Mycelial Generator: TNT, a redstone torch and redstone on an advanced machine frame.
Lightning Bomb
A Lightning Grenade and TNT. The grenade needs EvilCraft's Environmental Accumulator, found in Dark Temples (the cobblestone towers with a beam), and a thunderstorm to fill a weather container.
Improbable Probability Device
Late Mekanism and late AE2 in one recipe. The antimatter is the slow part, so start it before the rest.

Each pellet is 1,000 mB of antimatter. A fission reactor makes nuclear waste, the Solar Neutron Activator turns waste into polonium, and the Supercritical Phase Shifter turns polonium into antimatter. Our Mekanism guide goes through the reactors.

AE2's Matter Condenser turns 256,000 items into one Singularity. Feed it cobblestone from a generator.
2 256M Portable Item Cell or Blastproof Casing
Two, in any mix. The 256M cell is an ME Chest, a dense energy cell, a MEGA housing and the 256M component, which takes a lot of repeated crafting. Modern Industrialization's Blastproof Casing is made of blastproof alloy (tungsten, titanium and stainless steel).
Lightning Upgrade Orb
Eight Lightning Runes around an Empty Upgrade Orb. The runes need Bottles o' Lightning, which you get by using an empty bottle on a charged creeper.
2 Rainbow Furnace
A Rainbow Core (two Netherite Furnaces and every colour of glass) inside eight Rainbow Plating, which combines nearly every other furnace in the mod.
Aerial Interface
PneumaticCraft: pressure chamber walls, an omnidirectional hopper, an advanced pressure tube, ender pearls and a Nether Star.

Wireless Universal Terminal, all four terminals, charged
Craft the crafting, pattern encoding, pattern access and extended pattern access wireless terminals together into one universal terminal, then charge it full. The recipe asks for exactly that one.
Gravitational Modulating Unit
A MekaSuit module: three Antimatter Pellets, two Ultimate Induction Providers, ultimate alloys, a Nether Star and a Module Base.
Mechanical Arm or Large Advanced Motor
Either one. Create's Mechanical Arm needs Precision Mechanisms from a deployer line; Modern Industrialization's motor needs Advanced Motors, titanium rods and a Processing Unit.
Tesla Coil
Immersive Engineering: aluminium plates, an MV coil, an HV capacitor, an iron component and an advanced electronic component (blueprints at the Engineer's Workbench).
Quantum Computer Multi-Threader
Advanced AE, made in the Crystal Assembler. It eats several AE2 Singularities, so run the Matter Condenser for more than one.
Infinity Range Booster
Three Netherite Ingots, three Wireless Boosters and gears. It does not reach across dimensions.
Oblivion Shard
The fighting part: four Cataclysm bosses, the Snow Queen, and EvilCraft's blood.

Eternal Stella
A Hephaestus Forge ritual at tier three: an Allthemodium Ingot in the middle, three Xpetrified Orbs and a Stellarite Piece. The orbs are no longer mined: you feed experience to a black hole.
Mace of Destruction, filled with blood
EvilCraft: evil sticks (Dark Gems and undead planks), an Empowered Inverted Potentia (struck by lightning in an Environmental Accumulator) and many infused Empty Promises. Fill it with 4,000 mB of blood.
2 Piercing Vengeance Focus
Two of them. Blood orbs, End Crystals, a Vengeance Focus and popped chorus fruit. You will need a lot of Dark Gems.
2 Galgadorian Drill
Two of them. Steve's Carts: a hardened drill, galgadorian and enhanced galgadorian metal and a diamond block. Galgadorian metal takes a lot of stabilized metal.
Meat Shredder
Two Witherite Ingots, a block of iron and redstone. Witherite comes from the Harbinger, asleep in the Ancient Factory deep under the Overworld: feed it a Nether Star to wake it.
Snow Queen Trophy
The Snow Queen drops it in the Aurora Palace. You reach her through the Twilight Forest's boss order; the Alpha Yeti opens the Glacier. Our Twilight Forest guide has the order.
Void Forge
The Infernal Forge (the Netherite Monstrosity, at the Soul Blacksmith in the Nether) and the Void Core (the Ender Golem, in a Ruined Citadel in the End), fused on a Mechanical Fusion Anvil made of the Harbinger's Witherite.
Kill the Harbinger twice if you can: its Witherite makes both the Meat Shredder and the anvil the Void Forge needs.

Pure Mystical Agriculture: 108 Insanium Essence and a Master Infusion Crystal.

Master Infusion Crystal
Prosperity shards, Supremium Essence and a Supremium Gemstone. It never wears out, so make it first.

Patrick Star
Concrete, in the shape of a starfish. Make it in the Runic Star Altar from the stacks below, or in Create's 9 by 9 Mechanical Crafter from the same colours.

What holds the Star together, and most of what it costs.

In Ars Nouveau's Enchanting Apparatus: a Source Gem Block on the apparatus, and on the pedestals two Blocks of Piglich Hearts, a block each of Allthemodium and Unobtainium, and the four elemental essence blocks. 90,000 source each. The 28 blocks take 504 Piglich Hearts this way.
Or with Ice and Fire's dragon forge and an ice dragon breathing into it: a bucket of Molten Allthemodium and a bucket of Molten Unobtainium make one block, with no hearts at all. Productive Metalworks' foundry melts the metal, 90 mB to the ingot, so a bucket is about eleven ingots.
15 Nether Star Blocks 3x
Each is a Nether Star block compressed three more times: 6,561 stars. Fifteen of them are 98,415 Nether Stars.
Nobody kills that many Withers. A Wither model in Hostile Neural Networks gives a star per prediction, and Mystical Agriculture's Nether Star seeds grow on farmland over a Nether Star Crux. Run both from early on.
2 Awakened Unobtainium-Vibranium Alloy Blocks
Made in the Runic Star Altar itself: a Block of Unobtainium-Vibranium Alloy, four Awakened Supremium Essence, four Awakened Supremium Gemstones and four Unbreaking I books.
The plain block comes from Industrial Foregoing's Dissolution Chamber (four Pink Slime Blocks, a block each of Vibranium and Unobtainium, two Blocks of Piglich Hearts and 900 mB of Soul Lava), or from a dragon forge with a lightning dragon (molten vibranium and molten unobtainium).
Mistakes to avoid
- Following an ATM9 guide. ATM9 makes the Star in a 9 by 9 Mechanical Crafter, and its Wither's Compass, Oblivion Shard and Dimensional Seed are different recipes.
- Counting 17 triple Nether Star Blocks. The quest's text says 17; the recipe takes 15.
- Using any Ender Dragon model in the Dragon Soul. It has to be trained to Self Aware.
- A Wither Skull scroll below level 10, a Dark Tank with less than 16 buckets in it, or a Mace of Destruction without blood. Each slot wants the full version.
- A Blaze Forger in place of a Blaze Burner.
- Unbreaking books of a higher level in the Awakened Alloy Block. The recipe wants Unbreaking I.
- Mining Allthemodium, Vibranium or Unobtainium with Miner's Fervor on the pick. The ore drops nothing.
- An altar with no upgrades, or with empty Utrem Jars. It stays idle.
- Putting the Awakened Alloy Block in an AE2 pattern. Players report a soft crash; craft it by hand.
- Carrying every part in one backpack. Keep them in a chest or drawers and back up the world before the last craft.

For more Stars the pack has a second road, and it only opens once you have some. Patrick Bees are a rare catch when fishing in a warm ocean; right-click one with an ATM Star Block (nine Stars) and it becomes a Starry Bee, which wants another ATM Star Block as its flower. Its combs give Star Shards in a centrifuge, now and then.
A new Star takes 292 shards: 48, 52, 52, 52, 52 for the five ATM Star Fragments (each with a Forbidden and Arcanus prism), and 36 for the Infused Patrick Star, which also wants four Mending books, Infused Dragon's Breath and the three alloy ingots. The fragments, Corrupti and Mundabitur Dust and the Lens of the Killer then make the Star in the altar. Crushing a Star gives only 5 shards back.

Where do you craft the ATM Star?
In the Runic Star Altar, a 15 by 15 multiblock of Forbidden and Arcanus darkstone that runs on Modern Industrialization power. It needs 2,048 EU/t, which upgrades in its controller provide. A crafting table will not make the Star in ATM10.
How many Nether Stars does the ATM Star need?
98,415 for the 15 triple-compressed Nether Star Blocks, plus a few more in the Mini Nether Portal, the Wither Builder, the Aerial Interface and other parts. Farm them with a Hostile Neural Networks Wither model.
Do I need Create or Modern Industrialization?
Modern Industrialization for the altar's hatches and power. Elsewhere the pack gives a choice: a Blaze Burner or a Uranium Quad Fuel Rod, a Mechanical Arm or a Large Advanced Motor, and Patrick Star from Create's Mechanical Crafter or from the altar.
Can you automate the ATM Star?
After the first one. Starry Bees make Star Shards, and 292 shards rebuild a Star through five fragments and an Infused Patrick Star. Crushing a Star gives only 5 shards back.
Why won't my Dragon Soul craft?
Almost always the Ender Dragon data model: it has to be Self Aware, the last tier. Check the other special slots too: the Dragon Familiar must be inside the Creature Catcher, and the bee egg must be the Soul Lava one.
Why won't the Runic Star Altar start?
Right-click the controller: if a block is out of place it tells you where. Otherwise the usual answers are no upgrades (the recipes need 2,048 EU/t of capacity), no item output hatch, or Utrem Jars with no essence in them. The direction of stairs and pillars does not matter.
Is the ATM Star recipe the same as in ATM9?
No. ATM9 crafts it in Create's 9 by 9 Mechanical Crafter, and three of its parts have other recipes. Pages showing a 9 by 9 star grid are about ATM9.
What is the ATM Star used for?
The pack's creative items: a creative energy cell for AE2 and Powah, Mekanism's creative tanks and energy cube, a creative jetpack, a creative spell book and more. Making it is the end of the quest book.
