Powah

Various ways to generate, store and transmit FE power.
Powah is ATM10's simplest road to a lot of power: generators that burn fuel, lava or uranium, solar panels, and cables and batteries to move and keep it, each in seven tiers from Starter to Nitro. The tiers are climbed by energizing materials with power, on an Energizing Orb.

Getting started
Everything starts with Dielectric Paste: three coal, two clay balls and a lava bucket make 24, or two coal, a clay ball and blaze powder make 16. Paste and iron make dielectric rods and the Dielectric Casing, and iron, paste and a redstone block make four Basic Capacitors, which split into tiny ones.
- Build a Furnator and feed it coal.
- Run Energy Cables to an Energizing Orb with rods around it.
- Energize iron and gold into Energized Steel and climb the tiers.
- Build a Reactor once you have uraninite.
Energizing and the tiers
The Energizing Orb turns items into better ones with power. It needs at least one Energizing Rod within a 9 by 9 area, linked with the Wrench, and the rods must sit on cables or any FE block. More and better rods energize faster. Drop the items in the orb and they change when enough energy has gone in.
- Starter, Basic
- Made from basic capacitors.
- Energized Steel
- Iron and gold energized together. The Hardened tier.
- Blazing Crystal
- A blaze rod, or four blaze powder. The Blazing tier.
- Niotic Crystal
- A diamond energized. The Niotic tier.
- Spirited Crystal
- An emerald energized. The Spirited tier.
- Nitro Crystal
- A nether star, two redstone blocks and a block of blazing crystal. The Nitro tier, the top.
ATM10 reworks the orb's recipes so several items go in at once, with the energy counted per item: a certus quartz crystal charges for 20,000 FE each, dry ice is two blue ice for 10,000 FE, raw uraninite becomes uraninite for 2,000 FE and a uranium ingot for 30,000 FE. A block of blazing crystal comes from one blaze rod block or four blocks of blaze powder, for 1,080,000 FE.
Generators
Each generator comes in seven tiers. The figures are what ATM10's config sets, in FE per tick, from Starter to Nitro.
- Furnator
- Burns anything a furnace burns. 80 FE/t at Starter, 2,000 at Niotic, 20,000 at Nitro.
- Magmator
- Burns hot fluids, lava first. The same 80 to 20,000 FE/t. ATM10 adds molten blaze and Allthemodium's soul lava as fuels, soul lava worth twice as much.
- Thermo Generator
- Sits on a hot block or fluid and needs a coolant such as water. 20 to 1,750 FE/t; in ATM10 soul lava is nine times hotter than lava.
- Solar Panel
- Runs in daylight with nothing above it. 40 FE/t at Starter up to 50,000 at Nitro. A Lens of Ender, a photoelectric pane used on an enderman, lets it see through blocks.
- Reactor
- The big one. Place 36 reactor blocks in a free 3 by 4 space and it builds itself. It burns uraninite and wants cooling, with dry ice best. 500 FE/t at Starter, 50,000 at Niotic, 500,000 at Nitro.
Uraninite and dry ice
Uraninite Ore comes poor, normal and dense, found below Y 64, Y 20 and Y 0 by default, in deposits of one to five blocks; it needs an iron pickaxe and drops raw uraninite, more with Fortune. In ATM10 the Mining Dimension also has it, between Y 65 and 250. Raw uraninite smelts or energizes into Uraninite, the reactor's fuel, and ATM10 lets the orb make it from uranium ingots too.
Dry Ice cools a reactor. It is found underground below Y 64, and two blue ice energize into one.
Cables, storage and wireless charging
- Energy Cable
- 500 FE/t at Starter up to 1,000,000 at Nitro. The Wrench's config mode sets each side to push or pull.
- Energy Cell
- Stores power in the world.
- Battery
- Stores power in your inventory: one million FE at Starter, two billion at Nitro.
- Player Transmitter
- Charges the items of the player on its Binding Card anywhere in the dimension, or across dimensions with a dimensional card, a Binding Card used on an enderman or endermite. It needs a Player Aerial Pearl, an Aerial Pearl used on a zombie or husk.
- Ender Cell and Ender Gate
- Share power over channels at any distance: Ender Cells store it, Ender Gates put it in and take it out. Both are built around an Ender Core.
- Energy Hopper and Discharger
- The Energy Hopper charges items in the inventory next to it; the Energy Discharger drains charged items back into the network.
The Wrench has three modes: config for cable sides, link for the orb and its rods, and rotate. A Charged Snowball, an energized snowball, calls lightning where it lands.
Questions
How do I start with Powah?
Make Dielectric Paste from coal, clay and a lava bucket, then capacitors and a Furnator. Cable it to an Energizing Orb with an Energizing Rod and energize iron and gold into Energized Steel for the next tier.
How do I build the Powah reactor?
Hold 36 reactor blocks of one tier and place them in a free 3 by 4 space: it builds itself. Feed it uraninite and cool it, best with dry ice.
Where is uraninite ore?
Poor uraninite below Y 64, normal below Y 20 and dense below Y 0 by default. In ATM10 the Mining Dimension has it too, between Y 65 and 250.
How much power does a Nitro reactor make in ATM10?
500,000 FE per tick by the server's config, against 500 for a Starter reactor.
Why isn't my Energizing Orb working?
It needs at least one Energizing Rod within a 9 by 9 area, linked with the Wrench in link mode, and the rods must be on cables or an FE block that is getting power.
