What it is
A Silent Gear pickaxe is a pickaxe head and a rod, and the head's materials set its stats.
How to get it
- Make a pickaxe template from Template Boards, three boards over two sticks, or a pickaxe blueprint from Blueprint Paper.
- Craft it with three materials into a Pickaxe Head. Stone and flint work in the grid; in ATM10 metal and gem heads are cast in a Productive Metalworks foundry.
- Craft the head with a rod: a stick, a stone rod, an iron rod, a blaze rod or a bone.
Good to know
- A vanilla pickaxe crafted on its own turns into its Silent Gear version: an iron pickaxe gives an iron head on a wooden rod.
