What it is

Silent Gear's first material, cut from logs on a Stone Anvil.

How to get it

  1. Craft a Stone Anvil from three cobblestone and a block of dirt, and place it.
  2. Craft Crude Tool Parts from cobblestone, dirt and a stick, then a Crude Knife: cobblestone above one crude tool part.
  3. Right-click the anvil with a stack of logs, then right-click it with the knife. Each log becomes six boards.

How to use it

  • Craft boards in a part's shape into a template. JEI shows each shape: the pickaxe template is three boards over two sticks.
  • A template is used up when it makes a part. Five boards, a stick and a stone make a Very Crude Repair Kit.
