Mortar and Pestle

The Mortar and Pestle is used to break down natural materials into refined forms such as powders and pastes. These outputs are essential for many Hexalia systems, including brewing and ritual work. Right-click with each ingredient to place up to three items in the mortar. Once a valid mixture is ready, crouch and right-click three times with an empty hand to grind it. The finished result remains in the bowl. Stand normally and right-click with an empty hand to collect it. The recipe pages below show only what goes in and what comes out. The mortar holds up to three items and needs no fuel. If the mixture is not valid, grinding will not begin; remove ingredients with an empty hand and try another combination. The Mortar and Pestle serves as one of the earliest processing tools, transforming raw resources into forms suitable for more advanced systems. The Mortar and Pestle improves several familiar yields: one Bone makes 5 Bone Meal, one Sugar Cane makes 2 Sugar, and one Blaze Rod makes 3 Blaze Powder.
