What it is
Salt is a fundamental material in Hexalia, bridging practical crafting and ritual work. It is most commonly derived from natural growth and refined for magical use. Salt plays a central role in Nature's Ritual. It is often required as part of ritual offerings, forming the foundation for many transformations and processes. Salt is flexible in its use. Any item belonging to common salt tags may be used in its place during crafting or ritual offerings, allowing compatibility with other sources. Salt is also used in simple transformations, such as refining otherwise unusable materials into something more practical.
