What it is

A Malum metal for the late game. Thrown into a Weeping Well it becomes Malignant Lead, the start of Malignant Pewter.

How to get it

  1. Throw Nether Gold Ore into a Weeping Well. It comes back as Cthonic Gold Ore. StoneBlock 4 adds this recipe.
  2. Place the ore and mine it without Silk Touch: it drops three or four Cthonic Gold Fragments.
  3. Craft eight fragments into one Cthonic Gold.

Good to know

  • StoneBlock 4 also lets Occultism's Spiritfire turn Nether Gold Ore into one fragment.
