What it is
Malum's magic wood. On StoneBlock 4 its trees grow in the Arcane Grove, around x 512, z 512, so bring saplings home and grow your own.
How to get it
- Take the compass the Magician's quest gives you. It points to the Arcane Grove, around x 512, z 512.
- Bring diamond armor or better: Wilden guard the Grove.
- Cut its runewood trees for logs. The leaves drop a Runewood Sapling 1.5% of the time, 5% with Fortune III, and the Grove's chests hold saplings too.
- Plant the saplings at home for a steady supply.
How to use it
- One log crafts four Runewood Planks for the Spirit Altar. It also smelts into Arcane Charcoal.
- Use a spirit on the side of an upright log to engrave it into a totem pole rune.
