What it is

Modern Industrialization's first power source. It burns furnace fuel to turn water into steam, and pushes the steam into the machines next to it.

How to use it

  1. Craft it: a Bronze Tank at the top middle, a furnace in the centre, two bronze plates down each side and three Fire Clay Bricks along the bottom.
  2. Give it water, from buckets or a Bronze Water Pump, and any furnace fuel.
  3. Place your bronze machines against it. It heats up slowly, and at full heat it makes 8 mB of steam per tick: enough for four bronze machines at 2 EU/t.
  4. A Steel Upgrade turns it into a Steel Boiler, which makes 16 mB per tick.
