Environmental Ocular

The Environmental Eye is very useful in theory; however, a lot of magical botanists struggle with its limited range of gauging in the environment around them. A simple solution to this problem is the Environmental Ocular. While working similarly to the Environmental Eye, the main difference is its much bigger gauge for in the area: It is twice as large. It needs be noted that the extended bar only shows if levels are high or low enough. Secondly, the Environmental Ocular has the ability to display all Aura Imbalance effects that are currently occuring in the place the user is standing. They are displayed in the form of icons next to the aura bar. To find out which icon represents which effect, the Aura Imbalance section of this book can be used. If an effect icon is crossed out, it's either an effect that requires Effect Powder and there is none present, or it's an effect that is currently being inhibited by its corresponding powder. An additional perk is that, while the Environmental Eye needs to be held in the hotbar, the Environmental Ocular can be anywhere in the user's inventory to work. All other properties of the Environmental Eye carry over to the Environmental Ocular as expected.
