All The Ores

Commonly found modded ores in one easy spot!.
All The Ores is where ATM10's modded metals and gems come from. Instead of every machine mod generating its own tin, osmium and silver, this one mod generates each of them once, and Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, Create and the rest take them. In ATM10 that is true even of Mekanism's osmium. Below is where each ore is and at what height it is most common, read from the pack's own world generation.
Where every ore is
Each ore generates in the Overworld, the Nether and the End, as a stone, deepslate, nether or end variant, and Allthemodium's Mining Dimension and The Other carry them too, the Mining Dimension being the easiest place to quarry. Heights are for the Overworld: ore turns up anywhere in the range and most often around the middle.
- Tin Ore
- Y -64 to 196, most around Y 66. About four veins a chunk, up to 18 blocks.
- Zinc Ore
- Y -64 to 126, most around Y 31. Three veins a chunk, up to 16 blocks.
- Osmium Ore
- Y -64 to 56, most around Y -4. Three veins a chunk, up to 16 blocks. Mekanism's own osmium is switched off in ATM10, so this is the osmium.
- Silver Ore
- Y -64 to 56, most around Y -4. Three veins a chunk, up to 16 blocks.
- Lead Ore
- Y -64 to 56, most around Y -4. Three veins a chunk, up to 12 blocks.
- Nickel Ore
- Y -64 to 56, most around Y -4. Three veins a chunk, small ones of up to six blocks.
- Aluminum Ore
- Y -64 to 320, most around Y 128, so high in mountains as much as underground. Four veins a chunk, up to 24 blocks.
- Uranium Ore
- Y -64 to 16, most around Y -24. Two veins a chunk, up to 18 blocks. In the Mining Dimension it also generates up to Y 175.
- Platinum Ore
- Y -64 to 36, most around Y -14. One small vein a chunk, up to six blocks: the rarest metal here.
- Iridium Ore
- Y -64 to 32, most around Y -16. Two small veins a chunk, up to six blocks.
The gems and minerals:
- Ruby Ore
- Y -64 to 228, most around Y 82. Three veins a chunk, up to seven blocks.
- Sapphire Ore
- Y -64 to 296, most around Y 116. Three veins a chunk, up to seven blocks.
- Peridot Ore
- Y -64 to 196, most around Y 66. Three veins a chunk, up to seven blocks.
- Fluorite Ore
- Y -64 to 228, most around Y 82. Three large veins a chunk, up to 27 blocks.
- Cinnabar Ore
- Y -64 to 228, most around Y 82. Two small veins a chunk, up to six blocks.
- Sulfur Ore
- Y -64 to 25, most around Y -20. One vein a chunk, up to 17 blocks.
- Salt Ore
- Y -64 to 228, most around Y 82, in stone only. Three large veins a chunk, up to 27 blocks.
From ore to ingot
Every metal ore drops raw ore that smelts into one ingot, and nine raw ore pack into a block. For more per ore, the processing mods take All The Ores' materials directly: Mekanism's chain gives up to five ingots a block of ore through crystals, shards and clumps of each metal, Immersive Engineering's crusher and arc furnace give extra, and Ender IO's SAG Mill grinds them too.
Without any machine, an ore hammer doubles your ore at the crafting table. An ore or a raw ore with a hammer crafts into two dusts, which smelt into ingots; an ingot with a hammer gives its dust; two ingots and a hammer make a plate, and ingots and a hammer a rod. The hammer wears with each craft. ATM10 adds the ingot-to-dust recipe for most other mods' ingots too.
- Copper Ore Hammer
- Two copper blocks on three sticks. The cheapest.
- Iron Ore Hammer
- Two iron blocks on three sticks.
- Bronze, Invar and Platinum
- There are also Bronze, Invar and Platinum Ore Hammers.
Alloys
All The Ores also gives the pack one version of each common alloy, as ingots, dusts, plates, gears and rods. Ender IO's Alloy Smelter makes all of them from the metals below.
Questions
What Y level is tin in ATM10?
Anywhere from Y -64 to 196, most often around Y 66, about four veins a chunk.
Where is osmium in ATM10?
From All The Ores, between Y -64 and 56 and most often around Y -4. Mekanism's own osmium ore does not generate in ATM10.
Where do I find uranium in ATM10?
Deep: Y -64 to 16, most around Y -24. The Mining Dimension also has it much higher, up to Y 175.
Where is platinum ore?
Below Y 36 and most often around Y -14, one small vein a chunk. It is the rarest of the metals.
How do I double ore without machines?
Craft the ore or raw ore with an ore hammer for two dusts, then smelt them. A copper hammer is two copper blocks on three sticks.
Where is the easiest place to mine these ores?
The Mining Dimension, through an Allthemodium Teleport Pad placed in the Overworld: a flat world with all of them in it, made for quarries.
